Yes, you can use the on-board linear regulator (U36) to power the MAX9291EVKIT from 5V up to 40V via PoC (Power over Coax). Use the following procedure to configure the MAX9291EVKIT for PoC above 5V:
- Remove jumper on J18
- Connect jumper from JU3-1 (VDD) to JU3-4 (REG)
- Solder a short wire (greater than 24AWG) between J7-1 and J18-2.
- Connect the Coax cable to OUT- and apply PoC.
